Man Shot With Crossbow In North Belfast
Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was shot in the leg with a crossbow in north Belfast in the early hours of Sunday, February 23rd.
The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 1:30 am in the Cupar Way area. A 32-year-old man was shot once in the leg and taken to hospital for treatment. Detective Sergeant Magee said: "There can be no justification for this type of violence. Those who are involved in this attack do not represent the interests of this community, nor do they contribute anything to it. They do it to try and exert influence, or gain control of those they claim to represent."
Police are in the early stages of their investigation and are urging anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have information, dash-cam, CCTV, or doorbell footage to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 187 of 23/02/25.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Police Appeal After Man Shot Dead In Bangor
Police are appealing for information following the murder of Colin Horner, who was shot in front of his three-year-old son at Sainbury's car park in Bangor on Sunday, 28 May. The boy was in the car at the time of the attack. It is understood Mr Horner, originally from Co Antrim, has loyalist links.

A man is being treated in hospital following a shooting incident in north Belfast. Police have reported that a 20-year-old man was injured in a paramilitary-style shooting at about 01:00 on Monday morning at Havana Walk in Ardoyne. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening. An investigation into the shooting is underway.

A man shot dead in West Belfast on Saturday 18 December has been named as 31-year-old Mark Hall. According to police, two gunmen approached Mr Hall's family home on Rodney Drive shortly after 4:30pm.
