Man Dies In Hospital Following Collision In December
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses to a road traffic collision in Omagh in December 2024.
The appeal follows the death of 56-year-old Sean McGaughey in hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
Mr McGaughey's van was involved in a collision with a car in the Drumnakilly Road area at around 8.40pm on Sunday, 22 December.
Inspector Cherith Adair from the Police Service's Collision Investigation Unit said: "An investigation to establish the circumstances is ongoing, and the Collision Investigation Unit is appealing to anyone who may have any information which may assist, or who may have been travelling in the area at the time and captured any dash-cam or mobile phone footage, to get in touch."
Reports can be made by calling police on 101, quoting reference number 1390 22/12/24.

Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November. The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.

Woman Dies Following Collision In Newtownabbey
A woman has died in hospital following a collision on the Doagh Road in Newtownabbey on Monday, 13th January. Shortly before 6.15pm, police received a report of a collision involving a grey Seat Ateca and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 80s, was taken to hospital but has since died as a result of her injuries.
