Police Appeal For Help To Find Missing Ballymena Man

Police in Ballymena are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing man.

Alastair McIlroy, 63, was last seen in the Leighinmohr Avenue area of the town on Saturday, 07 December.

He is described as 6ft 3in tall with short grey hair and a distinctive ear piercing on his left ear. Mr McIlroy was last seen wearing a red shirt and dark trousers.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and are urging anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting serial number 3 10/12/24.

Missing Craigavon Pair Found 'Safe And Well'
Two people who went missing from the Craigavon area have been found safe and well. Chelsea McGarry, 17, and Daire McIlroy, 21, were reported missing on Tuesday, 29 March. They were believed to have been recently seen together at Dublin Airport. Police confirmed the pair have been found "safe and well".

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Body Of Missing Man John Thompson Found In River Bann
Police investigating the disappearance of John Thompson, 56, have found his body in the River Bann. The body was found on Monday, 22 August. Mr Thompson was last seen at around midday on Saturday, 20 August, in Portstewart. It is understood his death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police are urging the public to be vigilant after a man was seen "acting erratically" in Bangor, Co Down. The male was walking out in front of traffic and trying to stop cars on the main Belfast Road out of Bangor at around 3pm on Monday, 23 October.

Police Appeal After Man Seen Holding Phone Over Cubicle In Bangor Complex
Police have launched an investigation after a man was seen holding a mobile phone "over the side of a cubicle" in the swimming pool changing area at the Aurora Leisure Complex in Bangor. The incident happened on Saturday 15 August at around 3pm.
