Police Appeal After Assault in Belfast City Centre
Police are appealing for information following an assault in Belfast city centre on Sunday, 1st December.
The incident occurred in the Cornmarket area at approximately 3.40am. Two men in their 20s were assaulted by two unknown men. Both victims sustained facial injuries and required hospital treatment.
Police are seeking the public's help in identifying the two suspects. They are described as white men in their 20s, both around six foot tall and of medium build. One suspect was wearing a black buttoned top and dark shoes, with short dark hair and a dark beard. The other suspect was wearing a light-coloured two-tone coat, black jeans, and black trainers, also with short dark hair.
Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any information to contact officers on 101 quoting reference 325 01/12/24.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Antrim during the early hours of Monday, 18 March. The 26-year-old was walking in an alleyway adjacent to Seacash Drive at around 3.50am when he was approached by two men.

Man Charged Over Vehicle Hijacking In L'Derry
Police investigating the hijacking of a vehicle in L'Derry have charged a man with a number of offences. The 26-year-old is accused of common assault, driving whilst unfit and using a motor vehicle without insurance, in relation to a hijacking in the city on Monday 04 March. He is due to appear at L'Derry Magistrates Court today, 06 March.
