Police Ombudsman Issues Appeal Regarding West Belfast Arrest
An appeal for witnesses regarding the arrest of a man in west Belfast has been issued by the Police Ombudsman.
The man was arrested by police in the Beechview Park of the Falls Road at approximately 1am on Sunday, October 6.
A spokesperson said: "We know there were a number of bystanders at the time of the arrest and are particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have recorded mobile phone footage of the incident.
"If you believe you can help, please call our witness appeal line on 0800 032 7880."

The PSNI have asked West Midlands Police to investigate an alleged domestic incident at the home of Police Ombudsman Marie Anderson. It is understood that officers attended a "report of a domestic incident" at an address in Co Down on Saturday, September 23, at around 6.30pm.
