Asian family targeted in petrol-bomb attack
A couple and their five-year-old daughter have escaped injury after their south Belfast home was targeted by petrol bombers in the early hours of this morning.
The family, who are of Asian origin, were asleep in their Fane Street home when two petrol bombs were thrown at the front door and a front bedroom window at around 2.20am.
The attack, which left scorch damage to the small terraced house, is believed to have been the second time the family have been targeted in recent weeks.
Police say they are investigating a possible racial motive for the attack.
Anyone who may have information relating to the incident have been urged to come forward.

An Antrim family have escaped injury in a petrol bomb attack early this morning. Flammable liquid was poured through the letterbox of the house at Renown Court at about 4am. A woman and her two children were inside the house at the time.

A house has been targeted in a petrol bomb attack in Co Armagh early this morning. Petrol bombs were thrown at the house in Corban Crescent, Lurgan at around 1.20am. No one was injured during the incident. A hooded man was seen running away from the scene of the incident immediately afterwards.

Catholic home targeted in petrol bomb attack
A Catholic family's home in north Belfast has been attacked by petrol bombers overnight. The bombs were thrown at the Oldpark Road home shortly before 1am. While no one was injured in the incident a neighbouring house and parked motorcycle were slightly damaged.
