Pedestrian Dies Following Road Traffic Collision Ikn West Belfast
A female pedestrian in her 70s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in west Belfast on Saturday, 9th November.
The incident occurred on Hannahstown Hill shortly after 6:50pm when two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle. Emergency services attended the scene, and the injured pedestrians were taken to hospital.
Sadly, one of the pedestrians succumbed to her injuries. The second pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers of the vehicles involved were unharmed.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the collision and are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Inspector Cherith Adair, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said:
"Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances of the collision and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or to anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage of the vehicles involved - a silver Volkswagen Tiguan and a grey Ford Kuga, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1355 of 09/11/24, or submit information online at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. "

A male pedestrian has died in a serious road traffic collision in south Belfast. The man was hit by a car on the Saintfield Road in the Carryduff area at around 1.45pm on Thursday, 31 August. The Saintfield Road at the junction with the Baronscourt Road was closed for some time, however it has now been reopened.

Victim Of Fatal Road Collision In Co Antrim Named
The victim of a fatal road crash in Crumlin, Co Antrim, has been named as Emmanuel Caddell, police have confirmed. Mr Caddell, 22, died following the two-vehicle collision involving a car and a lorry on Monday, 10 April. The incident happened on the Manse Road at around 10.50am. Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Police Investigate Fatal Collision Near Ballymena
An investigation has launched following a fatal collision near Ballymoney. According to reports, a man aged in his 70s and a woman aged in her 40s were killed when a car and a construction vehicle collided on the Benvardin Road at about 4pm on Monday 16 November. It is understood that the two victims were the driver and a rear passenger in the car.

Police have renewed their appeal for information following a fatal crash on the M1 last Friday, 08 april. Maureen Buchanan, 80, died in the crash which occurred between junctions 9 and 10 countrybound.
