Arson Attack On 5G Mast In West Belfast

Detectives in Belfast are investigating a suspected arson attack on a 5G mast in the Andersonstown Road area. The incident occurred around 9.55pm on Wednesday, November 13th.

Detective Sergeant Faulkner confirmed that officers attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who successfully extinguished the blaze. While no injuries were reported, the fire caused extensive damage to the mast and affected nearby street lights.

The road closure at the junction of Owenvarragh Park has since been lifted. Police are treating the incident as arson and are appealing for information from the public.

Anyone who was in the area on Wednesday night and may have witnessed the incident, or who has dashcam footage or any other relevant information, is urged to contact the PSNI on 101, quoting reference number 1600 13/11/24.

The PSNI have appealed for information in relation to the deliberate ignition of a telecommunications mast in west Belfast in the early hours of today, 24 June. At around 12.15am police received a report from NI Fire and Rescue that its crews were battling a mast fire off Distillery Street.

An investigation has been launched following a suspected arson attack on a 5G communications mast in West Belfast. At around 9.30pm last night, Tuesday, 30 July, emergency services responded to reports of a fire at the Dairy Farm in the Stewartstown Road area. It is understood that 'significant damage' has been caused to the 5G communications mast.

Investigation Launched After Suspected Arson Attack In Co Antrim
Police have launched an investigation following a suspected arson attack on a number of sheds in Co Antrim. The incident happened in the Barnish Road area of Randalstown at around 10pm on Wednesday, 11 January. No-one is believed to have been hurt.
