Police Appeal Following Burglary In Ahoghill
Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Ahoghill on Tuesday, 12th November.
Police received a report that the back door of a house on the Ballymena Road was forced open shortly before 6pm.
The occupant, who was upstairs at the time, reported that they believed the suspect entered the property through the damaged back door and remained inside for a brief period. It is not believed that anything was stolen. Detective Sergeant McDowell said: "We are investigating a potential link between this report and another report of a burglary in the Parklands area of Ballymena yesterday.
"Detectives would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area on Tuesday afternoon to contact police on 101 and quote reference 1396 of 12/11/24. According to police, a window was smashed and entry was gained to the property around 8:25pm. PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of a burglary at residential premises at the Alliance Avenue area of North Belfast on Monday 1st January. Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Sometime between 1:30am and midday, it was reported to police that entry was gained to a house in the area.
