PSNI Investigates Vandalism Spree In Bangor
Police are investigating a spate of vandalism incidents that occurred in the Bangor area on Sunday, 3rd November.
In the early hours of the morning, a business premises in the Balloo Avenue area was targeted. The suspects smashed two window panes, causing significant damage estimated to be in the thousands of pounds. Additionally, a parked car was broken into.
A nearby business also reported damage to several vehicles and unauthorised entry to their premises.
Inspector Hanna said: "At this time we believed up to 12 vehicles have been tampered with. Enquiries are ongoing at this time, with CCTV and other footage being examined. "We are keen to establish a motive and who was involved in these senseless acts of criminal damage.
"Anyone who was in the area from midnight into the early hours of the morning and noticed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 699 03/11/24."

A teenager has been arrested in connection with a suspected arson attack on a council yard in Co Antrim on Wednesday. The 17-year-old youth was arrested after three vans and a digger caught fire at the Market Road council yard in Ballymena. Wednesday's attack is the second such incident on a council yard in Northern Ireland in a matter of days.

Four vehicles destroyed in council yard fire
Four vehicles have been destroyed following an arson attack on a council yard in Co Antrim on Tuesday. Three vans and a digger caught fire at the Market Road council yard in Ballymena, but firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby flats.
