Food store robbed in south Belfast
Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a food store in south Belfast last night.
At around 7.30pm, two males, believed to be in their late teens, entered the shop on the Upper Lisburn Road and threatened staff with a handgun before making off with an undisclosed sum of cash from a safe and tills.
One of the teens is described as being approximately 5’5 tall of thin build wearing a light coloured hooded top. The other is around 5’8 tall of heavy build and was wearing a black woollen hat. Both men are believed to have made off on foot.
Detectives at Musgrave Street are appealing for anyone with information to contact them but they particularly want to hear from the occupants of a left-hand drive Vauxhall Calibra car that was parked outside the premises at the time.

Armed Robbery At L'Derry Shop
Detectives in L'Derry are appealing for information following an armed robbery that on the evening of Saturday 11 January in the Park Avenue area. At about 20:40, two males entered a commercial premises and demanded money. One of the robbers was armed with a wheel brace. The pair made off with a sum of cash in the direction of Upper Nassau Street.

An investigation has launched following an armed robbery at a shop in Belfast city centre. Two men, one armed with a knife, entered a shop on Castle Street at around 10.25am on Saturday, 02 December. They demanded money from staff and made off with a sum of cash.

Police appeal for information on County Down attack
Police in Rathfrisland are appealing for information after a man was assaulted on Sunday evening. The man was attacked some time before 8pm on John Street and received cuts to the head and hand. He received hospital treatment for his injuries.

Woman's body found in Belfast
The body of a woman has been found in south Belfast. It has been reported that the body of a female was discovered in Colinglen Forest Park earlier today. The scene has been cordoned off, however it is not yet known if a crime has been committed.
