Police Appeal For Witnesses After School Bus Crash In Carrowdore
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a school bus crash in Carrowdore.
PSNI Sergeant King said: "At around 3.45pm, a double decker bus containing school pupils came off the Ballyblack Road East, before subsequently overturning into a nearby field. "An investigation is underway to ascertain what happened and we are appealing to members of the public to assist us with our enquiries. Were you driving along the road at the time and saw what happened, or perhaps you live near to where the collision took place and have security cameras at your property that may have recorded the incident?
"Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone with information that will assist the investigation including those with dash-cam or mobile phone footage of the collision to contact us on 101."

Heavy Snow Closes Over 80 Schools
Over 80 schools across Northern Ireland have been closed as the heavy snow continues to cause disruption on Tuesday morning. The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, as the snow is continuing to affect many roads. Areas which have been majorly disrupted include Lisburn, Castlereagh and Carryduff.

Translink Bus Strike 'Back On' From 17-23 May
The bus strike "is back on", the GMB Union has announced after their members rejected a revised pay offer. The union has said that drivers, cleaners and shunters across the company will walk out for seven days from 17 to 23 May 2022, "causing the entire bus network to grind to a halt".

Second School Bus Crash Reported
Just weeks after a tragic school bus crash left a local child dead, a pupil from the same school has been taken to hospital after a collision involving a school bus, a 4x4 vehicle and a lorry. The accident took place in Augher, County Tyrone, and is understood to involve a bus carrying 16 pupils to St Ciaran's High School.

Appeal Following Arson Attack In North Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a fire at a property in north Belfast on the evening of Tuesday 2nd July. At approximately 10.10pm police received a report that four masked men had broken a window and thrown a petrol bomb inside a flat in the Cliftonpark Avenue area.
