Executive Approves New Victims And Survivors Strategy

A new strategy for victims and survivors of the Troubles/Conflict has been announced by First Minister Michelle O'Neill and deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly.

The strategy, which has received Executive approval, will ensure the right trauma-informed and victim-centred services are in place to empower and support victims and survivors, and contribute to building a shared and peaceful future.

Launching the new strategy, First Minister Michelle O'Neill said: "Meeting the needs of victims and survivors, dealing with the past, and building for the future remain the key issues for those impacted by the Conflict.

"It contains a number of commitments and reflects the many factors that impact their needs.
