Appeal After Woman Robbed At Knifepoint In Belfast City Centre
Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Belfast City Centre on Sunday, 29 September.
According to police, a woman was walking in the May Street/East Bridge Street area around midnight when she was approached by a man armed with a large knife. The man demanded that the woman hand over her beige fabric tote bag, which contained personal items. The suspect then fled the scene in the direction of Friendly Street. Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to come forward. Anyone with information can contact detectives at Belfast City Centre Police Station on 101 or submit a report online using the PSNI website.
Detective Sergeant McCartan added: "We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with any footage that could assist with enquiries to get in touch.
"We are also keen to speak to two members of the public who came to the woman's aid after the suspect ran away.
"Detectives can be contacted on 101 quoting reference 2 30/09/24."

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In South Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in south Belfast in the early hours of Saturday 4th November. According to police, at approximately 1.30am it was report that 4 people – 3 men and one woman – arrived a flat in the Cameron Street area armed with hammers and a knife.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information on a stabbing incident in Dervock in Ballymoney on the evening of Sunday 30 July. At approximately 9.50pm, police received a report that two men had been stabbed during an altercation outside a bar in the Carncullagh Road area of the town.
