Three More Charged In Connection With Belfast Disorder

Three individuals have been charged in connection with disorder that occurred in Belfast early September.

A 19-year-old man has been accused of two counts of riot, arson, criminal damage, and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence. He is scheduled to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on 18 October.

A 17-year-old boy faces charges of riot, two counts of arson, and criminal damage. His case is set for a hearing at Belfast Youth Court on 14 October.

Additionally, a 16-year-old boy has been charged with riot and is due to appear before Belfast Youth Court on 21 October.

As per standard procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).

Lawyer considers client's 'overexposure'

Ihab Shoukri, from Alliance Road, was today remanded on continuing bail charged two counts of being a member of the UDA/UFF.

Man Unlawfully At Large Since August Arrested In Belfast
The PSNI have arrested Ray Lee in the Belfast on Monday, 30 October, after being unlawfully at large since August. 30-year-old Lee was charged with fraud offences in May 2021 and was on remand, pending Crown Court trial.
