Appeal Following Assault In Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an assault in Belfast on the evening of Wednesday, 17 September.
Police received a report of a group of males involved in a large fights in the Edward Street area at around 5.30pm.
Officers attended the area and spoke to a man who had injuries to his head, he was then taken to hospital for treatment.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
Detective Sergeant David Kitchen said: "We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information, including dash-cam or other footage, to contact us on 101 quoting reference 1353 of 17/09/24."

Appeal For Information On East Belfast Robbery
PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following the report of a burglary in the Susan Street area of east Belfast. It has been reported that sometime between 8pm on Monday (23rd May) and 10am on Tuesday (24th May) entry had been forced in to the home via a rear window while the occupants were out.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of a serious assault in east Belfast in the early hours of Friday, 13 January. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant McCartan said: "It was reported that sometime between 1am and 2am, a man, aged in his twenties, was assaulted by three men in the Beersbridge Road area.

Detective Sergeant Johnston said: "At around 8am, it was reported that a man entered a shop in the area. He produced a knife and threatened a female member of staff.

Detectives are investigating a burglary that occurred in the Lead Hill Park area of east Belfast on Thursday evening, 17 October. According to police, a window was smashed and entry was gained to the property around 8:25pm. The house was thoroughly ransacked, resulting in the loss of a significant amount of money, jewellery, and antiques.
