Appeal Following Aggravated Burglary In Downpatrick
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of an aggravated burglary in Downpatrick.
At around 11.30pm on Wednesday night, two masked men forced their way into a house on Rathkeltair Road. The occupant of the house was held at knifepoint for over an hour while being threatened, before being forced to hand over a large sum of cash.
The two men then made off on foot in the direction of Downpatrick town centre.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone with information regarding this crime. They can be contacted by calling 101, quoting reference 74 19/09/24.
