Man Wanted For Murder In Denmark Arrested In South Belfast
A 31-year-old man wanted on a murder charge in Denmark has been arrested in south Belfast by the PSNI's International Policing Unit.
The man is wanted in Denmark to stand trial for offences of murder and possession of a firearm. The offences occurred in the Aarhus area of Denmark on 8th March 2022.
He was detained on Monday, 16 September, on a Danish extradition warrant and has appeared before Laganside Extradition Court.
Sergeant Davey from the International Policing Unit said: "(The) arrest was as a result of an ongoing investigation into a senseless murder that took place in Aarhus, Denmark in March 2022.
"In this case we have worked closely with detectives from the East Jutland Police to locate and arrest this fugitive.
"Our message is clear, Northern Ireland is not a safe haven for any wanted persons trying to avoid arrest and the consequences of their previous actions. We will relentlessly pursue all those attempting to evade justice."

Man Dies After Bus Fall In Belfast
Detectives are investigating the death of an 80-year-old man who fell from a bus in Belfast. Police have said that they believe the man was travelling on a 2J Translink Metro bus service at around 11:15am on Friday, 08 November, when he suffered a fall as the bus travelled along Royal Avenue, near it's junction with North Street.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
