Teenager Dies In Fatal Collision Near Claudy

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following the death of a L'Derry teenager in a fatal collision in Park, near Claudy, at around 9am on Thursday 12th September.

Making the appeal, Inspector Cherith Adair from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Collision Investigation Unit said: "Eighteen-year-old Noah Karran from the Derry/ Londonderry area was driving a silver Saab on the Learmount Road when the collision occurred.

"We are investigating the circumstances of the crash and would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have captured dash-cam or other footage that could assist with our enquiries.

"Please call on 101, quoting reference 275 12/09/24, or submit information online at www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/."

Bricks Thrown At Home In South Belfast
A house in south Belfast has been damaged after bricks were thrown at it, shattering the front windows. At around 9:55 pm on Wednesday 14 August, police officers received a report from a member of the public that bricks had been hurled at a house in the Lindsay Way area of Donegall Pass, shattering the front windows.

Police Appeal For Witnesses After Assault In L'Derry
The PSNI have appealed for witnesses to an assault in L'Derry which left a man with severe head injuries. The attack occurred in the Waterloo Place area of the city on Saturday 6 July at around 1.45am. The victim, who is aged in his 20s, was reported to have been punched once by another man and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Renewed Appeal For Information On South Belfast Hate Crime
Police have issued a renewed appeal for information on a reported assault in the Ormeau Road area of south Belfast on Friday, 19 July. It was reported shortly after 10.40pm that a man, aged in his 30s, had been punched by two other men, close to the junction with Delhi Street.

Investigation Launches Following Hijacking In West Belfast
Police have launched an investigation following reports a van has been hijacked in west Belfast. The driver of a Renault Traffic Van was approached by a man armed with a knife in the Ross Road area on Saturday, 13 July. Detective Sergeant Magee said: "The man, threatened the victim and subsequently took the van.
