Two Arrested In Connection With Serious Assault In L'Derry
A man and a woman have been arrested in connection with the serious assault of a ma in L'Derry of Friday, 06 September.
At around 9pm last Friday, a man was found with serious injuries in the Sackville Street area. He was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains in a critical condition at this time.
Detective Inspector Connolly said: "Following initial enquiries, we have determined that the man sustained the injuries as a result of an assault. Yesterday, Monday 9th September, a 30-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were arrested.
"They both remain in police custody at this time.
"Our investigation is continuing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the Sackville Street or Strand Road area between 5pm and 9pm on the day and witnessed anything or to anyone with CCTV, dash cam or other footage that could assist enquiries to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1606 06/09/2024."

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Released On Bail Over Lurgan Murder
A man arrested in connection with a murder in Lurgan on Sunday, 06 August, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. The body of a man, aged 45, was discovered at a flat on Victoria Street. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
