Man Assaulted In Belfast City Centre

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an assault in Belfast City Centre on the evening of Saturday 7th September.

Shortly before 9pm police received a report that a man had been injured following an assault involving a number of people on Ormeau Avenue.

Officers attended and a 38-year-old man and two women aged 39 and 41 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

All three remain in custody at this time.

Detective Sergeant Ash said: "Enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault or to anyone with CCTV, dash cam or other footage that could assist enquiries to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 1798 07/09/2024."

Man Seriously Assaulted In East Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of a serious assault in east Belfast in the early hours of Friday, 13 January. Teen Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Gerard Quinn
A teenager has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 24-year-old man in L'Derry. Gerard Quinn was attacked in the Milldale Crescent area at around 10.25pm on Saturday, 21 May. He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he later died.

Man Assaulted In Belfast City Centre
Police have launched an investigation after a man was assaulted in Belfast. The attack happened in the Howard Street area at around 10.30pm on Tuesday, 17 October. The victim is currently being treated for his injuries in hospital.
