Appeal After Racist Graffiti Sprayed On Houses In L'Derry

The PSNI in L'Derry have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of racist and sectarian graffiti spray-painted on a number unoccupied new-build houses in the Church Brae area of the city.

It is believed that the criminal damage occurred sometime overnight on Sunday, 01 and Monday 02 September.

Making the appeal, Chief Inspector McManus said: "We are treating this incident as not only criminal damage, but as a hate crime which is totally unacceptable.

"This will not be tolerated. We will continue to work closely with our partners, community representatives and elected representatives. Hate crime has no place in our society whatsoever. Be reassured, we will be relentless in our approach to identify those involved.

"I would appeal to anyone with any information which could assist with our investigation to contact officers on 101 quoting 600 02/09/24."

Renewed Appeal On 22nd Anniversary Of Stephen Warnock Murder
Detectives from Legacy Investigation Branch, reviewing the murder of 35-year-old Stephen Warnock, in Newtownards in 2002, are appealing for information on the 22nd anniversary of his murder. Stephen died after being shot a number of times in his car while driving on the Circular Road in Newtownards at approximately 11.30 am on 13th September 2002.

Appeal Following North Belfast Burglary
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of a burglary at residential premises at the Alliance Avenue area of North Belfast on Monday 1st January. Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Sometime between 1:30am and midday, it was reported to police that entry was gained to a house in the area.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In South Belfast
PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary in south Belfast in the early hours of Saturday 4th November. According to police, at approximately 1.30am it was report that 4 people – 3 men and one woman – arrived a flat in the Cameron Street area armed with hammers and a knife.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Larne on Wednesday, 01 November. It was reported just before 2.50pm that a car and a lorry had collided at the Pound Street junction with the A8.

Man In Critical Condition Following Motorcycle Crash In Derrylin
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious one-vehilce collision in Derrylin on Sunday, October 8th. The collision occurred in the Ballyconnell Road area shortly before 12.45pm and involved a KTM motorcycle. The male rider of the motorcycle remains in a critical condition in hospital.
