East Belfast Fire Being Investigated As Arson
PSNI Detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of arson at the Dunraven Court area of east Belfast on Monday 26th August.
Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Shortly after 3:35am, it was reported that a white Mercedes CLA and a silver Volkswagen Tiguan were set alight. Both cars were completely destroyed, with damage also reported to a red Citroen Berlingo which was also parked in the area. A residential premises nearby received damage to its windows as a result of the heat. Colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service attended and dealt with the incident and there were no reports of any injuries.
"Enquiries are continuing and the incident is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life.
"Police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the ongoing investigation, to contact them on 101 quoting reference number 184 26/08/24. Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org/."

Investigation Launched Following Arson Attack In Belfast
Police have launched an investigation following an arson attack at a property in Belfast. A rag was put through the door of a house in the York Road area and set alight. Significant damage was caused to the door and the hall. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Suspected Arson Attack In Belfast
An investigation has been launched into a suspected arson attack in south Belfast. Shortly before 3.30am on Friday, a car was set on fire in the Malone Avenue area of the city. The blaze spread to a house nearby, causing damage to the ground floor window of the property. Police have said they believe the fire was started deliberately.

At approximately 10.20pm on Saturday, 13 April, police received a report of a fire at a house in the Kilburn Street area. Police attended the scene alongside the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

Dickson Condemns Arson Attack On Church
Alliance East Antrim MLA, Stewart Dickson, has condemned those responsible for an arson attack on Whiteabbey Methodist Church on Saturday night. Three fires were started, causing damage to the kitchen, however fire crews were able to stop the fire spreading.
