Terrorism Investigation Unit Searches In Derry City & Strabane
The PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit have carried out searches at two addresses in the Derry City & Strabane area early this morning, Thursday 22 August.
The searches, in Strabane and the Lettershandoney area, are part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity. A number of items seized have been removed for further forensic examination. No arrests were made.
Police have said that their enquiries are continuing and appealed to anyone with information or suspicions about dissident republican activity to make a report on 101, or report online via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Man Arrested In L'Derry
A 20-year-old man has been arrested in L'Derry. Officers from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation unit carried out a search at a property in connection with an ongoing on Wednesday, 04 November. A number of items were seized for further examination. The man was taken to be questioned, however he has now been released.

Woman Arrested In Connection With Dissident Republican Activity
Police have arrested a woman in Dunmurry in connection with dissident republican activity. Detectives from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit made the arrest during a search operation in the Dunmurry area on Wednesday, 27 June. The 39-year-old was detained during the search and questioned before being released unconditionally.
