£330,000 Resurfacing Scheme To Begin In Ballymoney
A £330,000 carriageway resurfacing and footway scheme on the B66 Knock Road, Ballymoney, is set to begin on Monday 5 August 2024.
The resurfacing project will cover the stretch from Lisconnan Road to the 30mph limit outside Dervock. A road closure will be in effect from 07:00 to 18:30 daily, from Monday 5 August 2024, to Friday 16 August 2024. During this period, signed diversion routes will direct traffic via: B66 Castlecatt Road – B67 Benvardin Road – B62 Ballybogy Road – A26 Frosses Road and vice versa
Infrastructure Minister, John O'Dowd said: "This is a substantial investment for the Ballymoney / Dervock area which will deliver significant benefits for residents and road users. The investment demonstrates my commitment to improving our rural road network, which is vital for connecting our businesses and communities. I would like to thank residents, local businesses and commuters for their patience while this essential infrastructure work is carried out."
The works are expected to be substantially complete by Friday 16 August 2024.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Drumquin. At approximately 7.50pm last night, Monday, 29th July, police recevied a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a black 2024 Suzuki S-Cross on the Dooish Road.
