Petrol Bomb Thrown At Van In Larne Causes Severe Property Damage
Police have launched an investigation after a petrol bomb was thrown at a van in Larne which caused "severe damage" to the vehicle and two properties it was parked outside.
The PSNI said after 4.30am on 25 July a petrol bomb was thrown at a vehicle in the Churchill Road area of the town. The incident is being treated as "arson with intent to endanger life".
Detective Inspector Crothers said: "Shortly after 4.30am, it was reported that a petrol bomb had been thrown at a car in the Churchill Road area causing severe damage to the vehicle along with two properties it was parked outside. Officers along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended and the fire was extinguished.
"We are treating this as arson with intent to endanger life and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with any CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 154 of 25/07/24."

Petrol Bomb Thrown At Community Centre In L'Derry
A petrol bomb has been thrown at a community centre in Co L'Derry. The device was thrown at the Dove House building at around 11.30pm on Thursday, 18 August. Scorch damage was caused to the front of the building. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Petrol Bomb Thrown At House
A petrol bomb has been thrown at a house in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh. It is thought the incident happened at around 3.25am on Sunday. A car is said to have drove by a property on Station Road in Letterbreen and a petrol bomb was thrown at the house. No one is thought to have been injured in the attack.

Houses damaged in separate petrol bomb attacks
Two houses have been attacked in separate petrol bomb attacks in Belfast and Downpatrick. In north Belfast, a device was thrown through a glass pane in the front door of a house on the Crumlin Road at around 11pm last night. In Downpatrick, a house in the Mount Crescent area suffered scorch damage in the early hours of Friday morning.
