PSNI Appeal For Information After Co Antrim Aggravated Burglary

Detectives have appealed for information after a man "armed with a weapon" gained access to a County Antrim property and assaulted the occupant.

The aggravated burglary took place on Thursday 25 July at approximately 7.40am in the Waveney Road area of Ballymena.

Detective Sergeant Erskine said: "At approximately 7.40am we received a report that a man, believed to be armed with a weapon, had gained access to a property in the Waveney Road area and assaulted the occupant.

"Officers attended and a man aged 35 was arrested at the scene on suspicion of aggravated burglary and non-fatal strangulation. He remains in police custody at this time.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with our enquiries, to contact detectives on 101 quoting reference 222 of 25/07/24."

Police Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In Plumbridge
Detectives are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at a house in Plumbridge. At around 1am this morning, 11 July, it's understood three men forced their way into a house on the Landahussy Road. The suspects demanded money from the lone male occupant and becoming involved in an altercation with him.

Appeal For Information Following Aggravated Burglary In Portadown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following an aggravated burglary in Portadown on Sunday, 25 November. At approximately 8.30pm last night a number of three masked men entered the home of a man, aged in his 80s, on the Derrylettiff Road. It is understood that the man's "vulnerable daughter" was in the house at the time.
