Two People Charged Over Kevin Davidson Murder

Two people have been charged with the murder of Kevin Davidson whose body was found at a property on Donegall Avenue on Saturday 20 July.

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland's Major Investigation Team have charged a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman with the murder of Mr Davidson who was reported missing earlier this month. They are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 24 July. In line with normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Pair Released Over Stephen Davidson Murder
A 49-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman who were arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Stephen Davidson in Bangor have been released. A 30-year-old woman was charged in connection with the killing on Thursday.

Three in court over extortion charges
Three men have appeared in court today charged with extortion and theft. The three – Raymond Crooks (43) and Samuel Davidson (44), from Mervue Street in Belfast, and Gordon Davidson (29), of Greenmount Place in Belfast – where in Belfast Magistrates Court this morning to face charges relating to extortion at a north Belfast building site.

Lawyer considers client's 'overexposure'
The lawyer of a senior north Belfast loyalist has warned that he may report the Chief Constable, Sir Hugh Orde, and an unnamed Sunday newspaper editor to the Attorney General for over exposure of his client. Ihab Shoukri, from Alliance Road, was today remanded on continuing bail charged two counts of being a member of the UDA/UFF.
