Man Charged With Conspiracy To Commit Murder
A man has been charged in connection with a shooting in a Banbridge car park in April of this year.
The 46-year-old man who has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder is due to appear before Banbridge Magistrates' Court, sitting in Newry Courthouse, on Thursday 8 August.
A man in his 40s underwent several weeks in hospital after he was shot in his abdomen in a car park off Rathfriland Road on the evening of Friday 12 April. The investigation is ongoing. As is normal procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

Man remanded in custody charged with car park murder
A 32-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of another man in a Co Tyrone car park at the weekend. Gerard Patrick McKenna of Legane Road in Dungannon appeared at Dungannon Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with the murder of 21-year-old Sean Mimnagh on Sunday.

A 35-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. The victim, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition after being assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. The suspect is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Monday, 17 October.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.

Seven Charged With Strickland Murder
A fourth man has been charged with the murder of Phillip Strickland in Comber last week, bringing the total to seven. The 36-year-old was found in a car on Quarry Road, off the Ballydrain Road, near Comber on Wednesday last. He had been shot several times and was declared dead in hospital a short time later.
