Police Appeal For Witnesses After Assault In L'Derry
The PSNI have appealed for witnesses to an assault in L'Derry which left a man with severe head injuries.
The attack occurred in the Waterloo Place area of the city on Saturday 6 July at around 1.45am.
The victim, who is aged in his 20s, was reported to have been punched once by another man and was taken to hospital for treatment.
PSNI Inspector Craig said: "We have since been updated that the victim suffered injuries which were much more serious than originally thought, and he remains in hospital with a fractured skull and bleed to the brain.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area that night who may have witnessed what occurred. It is believed that the man who threw the punch was wearing a white top and black bottoms, and made off in the direction of Shipquay Street."
Witnesses can call police on 101, quoting reference number 139 of 06/07/24. Alternatively, you can submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form or contact Crimestoppers anonymously online or on 0800 555 111.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following an assault in Belfast city centre. Police have reported, that on Saturday, 18th May, a man aged in his 20s had been walking from Bedford Street onto Howard Street some time between 10.45pm and 10.50pm.

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Police Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Fermanagh
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Co Fermanagh. A 42-year-old man died in the crash which happened on the Belfast Road in Brookeborough at around 8.35am on Friday, 08 June. The man was the driver of one of the vehicles involved. Police are appealing to anyone who may have dash can footage to contact them.

A 19-year-old man died in the crash on the Agivey Road which happened at approximately 5pm. The PSNI appealed to any motorcyclists who had a helmet camera or who may have captured the incident to contact them.
