Man Seriously Injured In Whitehead Crash

A man has sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle collision on the Belfast Road in Whitehead last night, Tuesday 16 July.

The PSNI received a report at around 9.10pm that a red Ford Fiesta had been involved in a collision on the road.

In a statement, Sergeant Watson said: "Our officers attended, alongside colleagues from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

"The driver, a man aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. He remains in a critical condition at this time."

Anyone with any information, dash-cam or mobile phone footage available, are asked to get in contact on 101, quoting reference number 1666 of 16/07/24.

Man Seriously Ill After Being Found Unconscious In Co Antrim
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being found unconscious at a house in Ballymena, Co Antrim. The man was discovered at a property in the Dunclug Gardens area on Tuesday, 18 October. Police 'Seriously Concerned' For Missing Man David Duprey
Police are seriously concerned for the welfare of missing man David Duprey. Mr Duprey, 61, was last seen in Craigavon Area Hospital in Co Armagh at 9am on Wednesday. Police are urging the public to contact them if they have seen Mr Duprey as he needs "urgent medical treatment".

Serious Road Crash In L'Derry
A serious road crash has occurred on the Chapel Road in L'Derry. A car and a motorbike where involved in the incident, according to the police. One man, believed to be a teenager, has been taken to hospital where his injuries are believed to be serious. The road has been closed at its junctions with Newlyn Terrace and Spencer Road.

Man Killed In Co Antrim Road Collision Named
A man who died in a road collision in Co Antrim has been named as Kamil Gervenka. The crash occurred on the Portglenone Road in Randalstown at around 12.15am on Sunday, 23 October. It is believed he was originally from Slovakia and worked in the area. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
