Red Squirrels Released Into Wild
Four red squirrels born at Belfast Zoo have been released into the wild at Glenarm estate in County Antrim. Zoo curator and chairperson of the Belfast Zoo native species group, Alyn Cairns, explained: "Here at the zoo, we care for and conserve a variety of endangered species from across the world.

Software Firm Partners With Red Bull Racing
A Newry-based software firm has teamed up with Red Bull Racing for the use of its Kx technology to analyse sensor data from its Formula 1 vehicles. Initially, Kx will be deployed for the analysis of wind tunnel data, a critical element in the development of faster, more competitive F1 cars.

Red Squirrel Faces New Threat
Northern Ireland's already dwindling red squirrel population was dealt another blow with the recent discovery of a fatal squirrel disease. The infected red squirrels were first spotted by members of the Tollymore Red Squirrel Group. This marks the first recorded instance of a red squirrel dying from this disease.

Dead man named following diving accident
A man who died following a diving incident in Co Antrim has been named. Adam Pollock, 31, from Ballymena Road in Ballymoney, was with three others when the incident occurred at Dunluce Castle, close to Portrush, on Saturday.
