Pensioners escape injury in attack
Two pensioners have escaped injury after their home was attacked in Co Down on Sunday.
The couple, who are both in their 60's, were asleep in their home at Chestnut Grove in Newry, when two men began throwing stones at the house shortly before 5.30am.
Windows were smashed at the front of the house, and the couple's car was also damaged in the attack.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

House Damaged In Petrol Bomb attack
A house in Larne has been damaged in a petrol bomb attack, according to police. It happened on Church Way at around 10.30pm on Wednesday. A man was in the house at the time but was unhurt. Minor damage was caused to the property and a window was smashed. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following a suspected arson attack at a Sinn Féin office building on the Andersonstown Road in west Belfast in the early hours of this morning, Monday 20 August. Issuing the appeal, Inspector McCullough said: "The fire was reported to us at around 4:50am.

An elderly couple have been left traumatised following a sectarian attack on their home in north Belfast on Monday. The Protestant husband and wife, who are in their 80's, were in their house on the Hesketh Road, when a window was smashed and paint thrown inside an unoccupied room.

Pensioners robbed twice in six months
Two pensioners have been robbed at their home in Co Down last night for the second time in six months. The husband and wife, who are both in their 90s, were in the living room of their Newtownards home when three masked men broke in at around 9.30pm.
