Alliance Marks 30th Anniversary of Loughinisland Massacre
The Alliance Party's Strangford Westminster candidate Michelle Guy, has marked the 30th anniversary of the Loughinisland massacre.
Describing the incident as a "act of sectarian hatred", Michelle Guy reaffirmed the need for justice for the victims and their families.
Cllr Guy, who has family connections with the village said: "What happened that night was a harrowing act of pure sectarian hatred, that left nothing but tragedy and heartache in its wake.
"Justice for the victims and their families has been too-long fought for, and my thoughts are with them today, along with the wider community as they mark this anniversary”.

BELFAST BAR FINED IN VODKA SUBSTITUTION CASE
THE Garrick Bar in Chichester Street, Belfast, has been fined £3,000 plus costs, following charges brought by the Trading Standards Service, under the Trade Marks Act 1994. The charges were in relation to the substitution of Smirnoff vodka with another brand of vodka.

Protestors Fail To Confront Alliance Leader
Republicans have this morning missed their target and failed to confront the NI Justice Minister over a prison dispute. They staged their protest in support of prisoners at the Alliance Party headquarters in south Belfast - but failed in their mission to come face to face with the Alliance Leader David Ford who is also the Justice Minister.

Marking the 30th anniversary of the Greysteel massacre, Alliance Leader Naomi Long MLA has said her thoughts are with the families of those killed. Eight people were killed by the UFF in the Rising Sun bar on the evening of October 30, 1993. The atrocity was part of a renewed spiral of violence in the wake of the Shankill bomb a week earlier.
