Appeal After House Ransacked In Newtownards

The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses after a house was ransacked in Newtownards.

On Tuesday, 4th June, police received a report that a burglary had taken place in the Sketrick Island Park area of the town at some point between 2.00pm and 2.45pm, when the resident was not present. The property was ransacked and a large sum of money stolen.

Detective Inspector Bell said: "We would appeal to anyone who noticed anything out of the ordinary in the area to make contact with us on 101, quoting reference 1175 of 04/06/24.

"We would be especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or mobile footage of the area that we could review."

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report that shots were fired at a house in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 10 January. Making the appeal, Detective Sergeant Watkin said: "It was reported just before 12.20am that two loud bangs had been heard outside an address in the Melmore Gardens area.

PSNI detectives have issued an appeal for information following a report of a burglary at residential premises at the Alliance Avenue area of North Belfast on Monday 1st January. Detective Sergeant Kitchen said: "Sometime between 1:30am and midday, it was reported to police that entry was gained to a house in the area.

Appeal For Information On Serious Assault In North Belfast
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of a serious assault in north Belfast on Tuesday, 10 October. According to the report, shortly after 9.10pm, a number of masked men were seen leaving a flat in the Forthriver Drive area.
