Cannabis Seized In Newcastle Search Operation

Cannabis worth an estimated £15,000 has been seized at a house in the Dunwellan Park area of Newcastle in a PSNI operation on Monday, 03 June.

Two men aged 19 and 50 were arrested on suspicion of a number of drugs offences and have been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.

Newry, Mourne & Down District Commander, Superintendent Norman Haslett said: "We are actively committed to removing dangerous drugs from our streets, and proactively investigate and carry out searches to disrupt this activity, and those involved in the drugs trade.
