Alliance Welcomes Start Of Narrow Water Bridge Project
The Narrow Water Bridge project represents a major opportunity for growth in the regional economy and enhancement of the wider Carlingford Lough area by connecting communities.
This was the message of Alliance South Down MLA Andrew McMurray as he welcomed the start of construction on the project.
Mr McMurray said: "It is welcome news that after years of campaigning, we're finally seeing construction underway on the Narrow Water Bridge project. I'd like to express my gratitude to all those who relentlessly campaigned for this project and to the Irish Government for their steadfast commitment to the Narrow Water Bridge.
"This project will unlock tremendous potential by linking my constituency of South Down with County Louth, integrating the Carlingford Greenway, and delivering a substantial tourism boost alongside a crucial cross-border active travel route."

Four Arrested Following Disorder In South Belfast
Four men have been arrested following public disorder incidents in the university area of south Belfast on Thursday, November 14th. Police responded to a number of offences, including resisting and obstructing police, and assault on police. Three men, aged 18, 20, and 21, have been charged and are due to appear in court in December.

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Three Arrested In Connection With South Armagh Firearms Find
Police have arrested three men in connection with the discovery of firearms in Crossmaglen last year. Detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch, local District Police, and the Tactical Support Group carried out searches in South Armagh and Grantham, Lincolnshire on Thursday 12 December.

NI Executive And Irish Govt To Review Narrow Water Bridge Project
The NI Executive and the Irish Government have agreed to undertake a review of the Narrow Water Bridge project, the Finance Minister has confirmed. Minister Máirtín Ó Muilleoir visited the site and met with local representatives to discuss the project.

Infrastructure Minister John O'Dowd has welcomed the start of construction on the new Narrow Water Bridge. The project will produce a 195m cable-stayed bridge connecting Omeath with Narrow Water near Warrenpoint, designed for vehicular, cycle and pedestrian traffic.
