23-Year-Old Man Charged With Murder Of Kathryn Parton
The PSNI has reported that a 23-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 34 year old Kathryn Parton, who was found dead at her home in Madrid Street in east Belfast on Wednesday, 15 May.
A 43 year old woman and a 22 year old man have also been charged with the offences of assisting an offender and of aiding and abetting a breach of bail. The woman has also been charged with the offence of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
All three are due appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today, Monday, 20 May.
In line with usual procedure, charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

Traffic Warning For South Belfast Ahead Of Northern Ireland Match
Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. The match will take place at Windsor Park, kicking off at 7.45pm, and it is expected that around 18,000 supporters will attend.

Man Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of loyalist George Gilmore. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. A 32-year-old man arrested on Sunday, 19 March, has been released.
