Drugs And Cash Seized In Donaghadee Search Operation

PSNI detectives investigation criminality linked to West Belfast UDA have carried out a search operation in Doneghadee.

On Wednesday, 24 April, officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force conducted a search of a property under the Misuse of Drugs Act. As a result mobile phones, cash, and quantities of suspected class B and class C controlled drugs were seized. The items were taken away for further forensic examinations.

Detective Inspector Corrigan said: "The Paramilitary Crime Task Force will continue to seize and remove dangerous and harmful drugs from the streets, whilst also disrupting finance streams linked to the sale of these drugs.

"I would ask anyone with information about the supply of illegal drugs to contact police on 101 and assist us in our efforts to make this country a safer place for all.
