Postmortem to be carried out on Co Down man
A postmortem is to be carried out on the body of a man found dead at his Co Down home at the weekend.
Pat Keenan was found at his house in the Carrive Drive area of Newry at around 8.30pm on Saturday.
Police are still investigating a motive behind the man's death, including the possibility that he may have died during a burglary, however detectives said they would not comment further until the results of today's postmortem were known.
Detectives, who are also trying to trace a red Mercedes which has gone missing from outside his house, would only describe Mr Keenan's death as "violent".
