Man to be appear in court charged with murder

A 19-year-old man from Tandragee is to appear before Newry Magistrate's Court later today charged with the murder of 35-year-old engineer Paul Crymble.

A woman, who was also arrested by detectives in the early hours of Thursday morning, is to be charged with withholding information.

Paul Crymble's body was discovered in a car near Marlacoo, Co Armagh, at around 11am on Sunday. A post-mortem has revealed that the father of two died from asphyxiation.

Initially, detectives were told that the couple had been confronted by four masked men outside the family home near Richhill, Co Armagh, in the early hours of Sunday. Money was demanded before the gang bundled Mr Crymble into the family's car and made off, police were told.

Police have appealed for the driver or occupants of a Ford Escort car to come forward so that they may be excluded from inquiries.

A police spokesperson said that the vehicle with a registration number "ILZ" was seen in the Ahorey area of Richhill last Saturday. The car is believed to have been parked in a laneway a short distance from the home of murder victim Paul Crymble at around 9pm on Saturday evening.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at the incident room in Armagh on 028 3752 2311.
