Four Die In Fatal Collision In Armagh In Early Hours Of 24 March
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information and witnesses following a fatal collision in Armagh in the early hours of Sunday, 24 March.
A driver and three passengers died when the grey Volkswagen Golf they were travelling in crashed on the Ballynahonemore Road at around 2.10am.
The four, who as yet have not been formally identified, were declared deceased at the scene.
District Commander Superintendent Paul McGrattan said: "This is an unspeakable tragedy for the families involved, and for the wider community, who will understandably struggle to comprehend such loss of life.
"A thorough and sensitive investigation is now underway and anyone with information that could assist us is asked to get in touch with the Collision Investigation Unit.
"Police remain at the scene at present and the Ballynahonemore Road will be closed for most of the day.
"The thoughts of the entire Police Service are with the families, friends and loved ones of those who have lost their lives."

A man, aged in his 60s, has died in a road traffic crash in Newry on Monday. The collision happened on Kildare Street. A pensioner has died weeks after she was run over while walking in County Down. The woman in her 80's was struck by a car on the Bangor Road in Newtownards shortly before 4pm on Thursday 17 January. It has since been confirmed that she died of her injuries.

The PSNI have launched an investigation into the cause of a fatal collision on the Cornascriebe Road, between Tandragee and Hamiltonsbawn, on Tuesday 13th February. Police received a report shortly after 2.30pm of a collision involving a car and a tractor.
