Three Arrested In Connection With East Belfast Burglary
Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with an attempted burglary in east Belfast on Monday, 11 March.
PSNI officers responded to a report of an attempted break in and criminal damage at a property in the Upper Newtownards Road area.
On arrival, it was discovered a security camera had been ripped off the property and a window had also been damaged to a nearby car, as well as damage caused to a garage door.
Police detected three people in the area acting suspiciously and carried out subsequent arrests.
A 34-year-old man was later charged with attempted burglary with intent to steal and criminal damage.
A second man, aged 44, was also arrested and later charged with a number of related offences including, two counts of criminal damage, attempted burglary with intent to steal, going equipped for burglary, tampering with a motor vehicle and common assault.
Both men are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Monday, 8th April. As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
A woman aged in her 40s, who was arrested at the scene in connection with the report was released from custody following questioning.

19-Year-Old Charged With Attempted Murder In North Belfast
The PSNI have charged a 19-year-old man with attempted murder in connection with a number of incidents in north Belfast. It is understood the man has been detained following a knife attack at Annesley Street at around 4pm on Sunday 12 December. A number of other incidents followed on Vicinage Park and Cranburn Street.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

An SDLP councillor has described an assault on a priest in west Belfast yesterday as "cowardly". Father Matt Wallace from the Holy Trinity Parish was stabbed in the face with a screwdriver during an attempted burglary at St Martin's nursery.

Two Men Arrested Over West Belfast Burglary
Two men have been arrested in connection with a burglary in west Belfast. The men also attempted to attack the occupant in the property in the Forfar Street area on Sunday morning. The pair, who were armed with wheel braces, smashed the front door and windows, and attempted to assault a man.
