Arrest Made In Connection With Attempted Murder On 06 January
A man, aged in his 60s, has been arrested by PSNI detectives investigating an attempted murder in Ardmore, L'Derry last month.
The arrest is part of an investigation by detectives into a report shots were fired at a house on Ardkill Road on the evening of Saturday 6th January.
The man was arrested this morning on suspicion of attempted murder and he remains in custody at this time.
Renewing an appeal for information, Detective Inspector Wilson said: "On the evening of Saturday 6th January, police received a report that three shots had been fired through a window of a house at around 9.15pm, narrowly missing a male who was in the house at the time.
"Three other people were also inside the house at the time of the incident. Fortunately, no-one was physically injured, however, this terrifying incident has left all those impacted extremely distressed.
"I am again appealing to anyone who was in the Ardmore area at around the time of the shooting and saw anything suspicious, or has information, to get in touch with us.
"Our appeal also extends to anyone who has dash cam or doorbell footage."

Detectives probing the fatal shooting of Malcolm McKeown outside a Co Down petrol station have arrested a man in his twenties. Mr McKeown, aged 54, was found dead in his car outside Dewart's Garage in Waringstown on Monday 19 August. He had been shot six times. The suspect, aged 26, has been taken to Musgrave Station for questioning.

Arrest After Man Found Dead In Ballymena
A woman has been arrested following the discovery of a man's body at a home in Ballymena. Detectives from the PSNI's Major Investigation Team launched a murder investigation following the death of the 40-year-old at a house in the Devenagh Court area of the town on Thursday 22 November.

Two Charged Over Alvor Killing
A teenager and another male have appeared in court in Portugal charged in connection with the death of a Londonderry businessman in the Algarve earlier this month. The accused, aged 19 and 26 and from Brazil, were charged with homicide and robbery. The 26-year-old was remanded in custody while the 19-year-old was placed under partial house arrest.

Two Men Arrested Over Attempted Murder Of PSNI Officers
Two men have been arrested in Dublin in connection with the attempted murder of a two PSNI officers. The suspects, aged 29 and 32, have been detained under a European Arrest Warrant. The arrests were in connection with a bomb discovered attached to a police officer's vehicle in L'Derry in June 2015.
