PricewaterhouseCoopers launches Asian business forum
PricewaterhouseCoopers, in association with HSBC Private Bank, has announced the creation of an Asian Business Forum.
PricewaterhouseCoopers decided to establish the forum after consultation with its Asian clients and contacts who have expressed a need for a group to discuss key strategic and business issues facing the Asian Business community and use the opportunity to network.
Mike Jatania, Chief Executive of Lornamead Group and Alun Powell, Senior Economist at HSBC Bank Plc were guest speakers.
Alistair Rose, South East Regional Chairman, PricewaterhouseCoopers, said: “Entrepreneurial spirit is at the core of Asian businesses. The Asian community contributes an estimated 10% to the UK’s total GDP, and as these businesses grow and become more complex, there is a greater need to network and learn from the experiences of others.
“By establishing this forum, PricewaterhouseCoopers is demonstrating its strong commitment to build and expand its presence in the Asian business community in the UK.”
The forum’s inaugural event was held recently at the St Martin’s Lane Hotel, London.
