Four Charged In Connection With Blake Newland Murder

Four people are due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court charged in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Blake Newland.

The Limavady teenager died after being found with serious stab wounds at a house in the town on Friday, 02 February.

Detectives investigating the murder, have now charged two men, aged 27 and 29, with murder.

Two 16-year-old boys have also been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.

All four will appear before Ballymena Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 6th February.

All charges are also to be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

A 36-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Co Down. The 54-year-old victim was stabbed in the Manor Court area in Moira on Monday.
