Homes Evacuated In Co Tyrone And Co Down
Homes have been evacuated in two separate security alerts in County Tyrone and County Down today, 19 January.
In the first security alert, a suspicious object was found at at a house on the Gortgonis Road in Coalisland. A number of nearby houses have been evacuated and the public asked to avoid the area at this time.
In a separate incident, police are at the scene of a suspicious object in the Windmill Avenue area of Ballynahinch, County Down. Loughside Drive is closed between Windmill Avenue and Tudor Oaks. In the area a number of houses have been evacuated and police are asking members of the public to avoid the area.

Road users are advised to plan for potential traffic delays in the south Belfast area on Friday, 15th November due to the UEFA Nations League football match between Northern Ireland and Belarus. Detectives are appealing for information following a report of a burglary in Ahoghill on Tuesday, 12th November. Police received a report that the back door of a house on the Ballymena Road was forced open shortly before 6pm.

Homes Evacuated In West Belfast Security Alert
A number of homes have been evacuated following the discovery of a suspicious object in west Belfast. The object was found in the Slieveban Avenue area of Andersontown at 11.30am on Wednesday 07 November. No main roads have been affected by the security alert. There are no further details at this time.

'Small But Viable Pipe Bomb' Made Safe In Loughguile
Police have declared a device at the centre of a security alert in Loughguile, County Antrim on Sunday morning as a "small but viable pipe bomb". Police received a report of a suspicious object in Tullyviewm off the Corkey Road at about 8:50am on Sunday 16 January.
