Woman Arrested In Coleraine Search Operation
A 44-year-old woman has been arrested following a search operation in Coleraine.
Officers from the PSNI's Organised Crime Branch conducted a search of a house in the Coleraine on the evening of Wednesday 29th November, and seized a number of items.
A quantity of suspected Class A and Class B controlled drugs were located and taken away for further examination, alongside a quantity of cash.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and B controlled drugs, possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs, possession of criminal property and attempted obstruction of police. She remains in police custody at this time.
Detective Inspector MacCionáoith said: "We are actively committed to removing dangerous drugs from our streets, and proactively investigate and carry out searches to disrupt this activity, and those involved in the drugs trade. Man Jailed For Drugs Offences
A Newtownabbey man has been handed a custodial sentence for a series of drugs offences following police raids as part of a paramilitary probe. 49-year-old William Axon will serve two years imprisonment, half in custody and half on licence.

On Wednesday 24 July, detectives searched the property as part of an ongoing operation into organised crime, detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF).

A large quantity of suspected Class A drugs, as well as suspected Class B and Class C drugs, have been seized during PSNI search operation in L'Derry.
