Men Arrested In Paramilitary Crime Task Force Operation

Two men have been arrested by detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force investigating suspected criminality linked to the East Belfast UVF.

A 20-year-old was arrested following search operations in East Belfast and Newtownards on Tuesday 14th November.

A quantity of suspected herbal cannabis worth an estimated £15,000 and a quantity of cash was seized.

The man was arrested on suspicion of drugs and money laundering offences.

A second man, aged 51, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A controlled drug and possession of a class A controlled drug with intent to supply.

Detective Inspector Maguire said: "We will continue to work with communities and partners to disrupt those involved in criminal activity, and I would appeal to anyone with information or concerns about illegal activity, or anyone with any information that can assist our investigations, to call police on 101, or submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

Racially Motivated Hate Crime In South Belfast

Three Men Arrested After Police Seize Around £250k Of Cocaine
Police have seized cocaine, worth an estimated street value of £250,000, during a search in Crumlin. Two men, aged 22 and 42, were arrested after police searched a vehicle on the Dundrod Road at Nutts Corner at around 4.45pm on Thursday, 30 November. A 30-year-old man was also arrested after a second vehicle was searched in Kilrea.
