Youths attack police in Londonderry
Police have been attacked by a gang of youths in Londonderry overnight.
Petrol bombs and paint were thrown at officers during the trouble in Irish Street which lasted from 10pm to 1am.
A tree was also knocked down by youths and used to block a road during the trouble. However there have been no reports of injuries or arrests.
Elsewhere, two men received treatment in hospital for leg wounds following a paramilitary style shooting in east Belfast last night.
The two men, aged 25 and 23 years, were attacked in the Belvoir Drive area of Castlereagh around 11pm on Wednesday.
Police who attended the scene removed items for forensic examination.
Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at Castlereagh on 028 90 650 222.

The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Around 70 Youths Attack Police In L'Derry
Approximately 100 youths have attacked police officers in L'Derry. The officers were attacked with paint bombs, stones and bottles in the Shantallow area on Thursday night. The thugs blocked a road with burning pallets and tyres and ripped traffic islands off the ground. The windscreen of a police vehicle was also smashed.

Youths Attack Police In East Belfast
Police came under attack from a number of youths in Belfast on Sunday night. In a statement, the PSNI said officers were attacked by around 60 youths in the east of the city. Bricks, blocks and bottles were thrown at officers, and the windscreen of a police Land Rover was smashed in the incident.
